There has been a quite interesting report issued by the Chartered Institute for Housing (“Widening The Rental Housing Market” , August 2010) which appears to indicate that the time when members of our population could expect to move into property ownership at some period in their lives may be drawing to a close, leading to generations of householders who may have to to rent for the rest of their lives.
